

Meetings are based on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and are designed to address all aspects of the recovery process, including physical, emotional and spiritual issues. OA meetings are a group of people who have come together to share their experience, strength and hope in overcoming compulsive eating.

Most of the aforementioned ephemera have scalably low attendance and have been known to crop up in the odd times and at the drop of the hat. The aforementioned community has a number of nebulous and oblique meetings and a growing list of devoted and curious members. Most notable among the various orgs is the UCSC OA community. OA has a number of incarnations, most notably a loosely affiliated user community that spans several universities and community colleges.

OA stands for open educational resources or in layman’s terms, scholarly materials that you can download and reuse on your own time and at your own pace. It’s turning out to become a decent alternative to Zoom and to the other major platforms. Have you tried Meetn, the new online meeting platform?
